Terms of Service

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, use an email address or Google account you are authorized to use, and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly through the contact method below if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may use the service only if you can legally agree to these terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission.

Your content and public profile

You keep ownership of content you submit, including profile text, avatars, reviews, and lists. You grant Game Library a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and provide the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backups or copies we must keep for security or legal reasons.

Profiles and supported community content are public. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to publish it. Do not post personal or confidential information that you do not want others to see.

Acceptable use

You may not use Game Library to:

• Break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or encourage harmful activity.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, or target another person.
• Publish illegal, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or malicious content.
• Send spam, manipulate social features, or use automated access that disrupts the service.
• Upload malware, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, or interfere with accounts, infrastructure, or data.
• Access or change another person's account or content without authorization.

Game data and third-party services

Game descriptions, release dates, images, ratings, and other catalog information may come from RAWG or other rights holders. That information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and is provided for discovery and organization, not as a guarantee. Game Library does not claim ownership of third-party game names, artwork, trademarks, or catalog content.

The service uses third-party infrastructure and authentication providers, including Supabase, Google when you choose Google sign-in, RAWG, and Vercel. Your use of their services may also be subject to their terms. Links to other websites do not mean Game Library controls or endorses those sites.

Game Library intellectual property

The Game Library name, interface, design, and original application content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may use the application for its intended personal and community purposes, but may not copy, sell, or exploit protected parts of the service without permission.

Service availability and changes

We may update, add, remove, or temporarily suspend features to maintain security, reliability, or the direction of the project. The service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, or events beyond our control. We do not promise that every feature or item of content will remain available indefinitely.

Account restriction and deletion

We may restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to address a terms violation, security risk, abuse, legal requirement, or harm to the service or its users. Where practical, we will consider the nature of the issue before acting. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through the contact method below.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Game Library is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, third-party data, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for decisions you make based on game information or community content.

To the extent permitted by law, Game Library and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when updated terms are published. If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the application. Continuing to use the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
